De-winterization

Recommended Posts

When I winterized boat motor I removed two sensors (knock and temp I think) to drain engine block. Typically when I reinstall plugs or sensors in an area of the water jacket I use thread tape or sealant. However, I have had cases where the electrical sensors did not require sealant b/c they needed a case ground for the sensor to work properly. Does any know what the motor manual says about reinstalling the sensors?

No tape on the knock sensor, it affects it's ability to detect predetonation.
