Bill,

Thanks for the links I think I have caught up on stuff now.

What did you think of the Sixam? I find it an interesting sounding ski.

Also what sizes were you skiing? You are on a pretty big Monza aren't you?

So did you learn anything new on fin adjustments from all the factory people?

OH God! Tracy-you better go get some more bandwidth!!!!!!!! This is the question that GT has had to keep bottled up inside all to his badself and you just uncorked the bottle!

On a more serious note, GT is very knowledgeable about fin setting and what the different moves do to different skis. I call him for fin settings and I got my initial fin settings for my 9800 from him.

One key lesson at the ski test was getting each ski dialed in to the individual skier. As GT mentioned, the time spent with each of the pro's was awesome. Each ski did require some fin tuning to make it hit the sweet spot. That alone is well worth the time. I would highly recommend that if you are going to buy a new ski, a session with a coach / pro / factory rep is well worth the time and money. Jodi Fisher (Fisher) and Paul Crawford (D3) each suggested fin adjustments that tuned thier ski in and improved the buoy count. In addition, it made the ski riding experience much more enjoyable. Even if you are pretty technical and understand fluid dynamics, it is still great to discuss and get a different perspective to your own mindset.
