08 wakesetter interior

Hey fellas,

I am about to order an 08 vtx. My question is the exterior will be black and light graphite. On the interior I went light graphite on the main (sundeck, front of seats, back of seats), white on seat bottoms back of sundeck, and graphite on the mesh type deal. Is that graphite and light graphite gonna clash with the light graphite and black exterior? Will it be too dark?

Thanks in advance.

I think it really boils down to personal preference. Many on here will say that they try and avoid darker interiors b/c the sun tends to get them very hot!!! And, being from AZ, I can vouch for that. All-in-all, I'd say if you like the colors you have chosen, then stick w/ them Yes.gif

Oh, by the way, congrats on the new boat Yahoo.gif

and don't forget pics Thumbup.gif

The darker interior may be easier to keep clean. I found that white shows road dust and dirt a lot more, although it will get hot.

I agree with the getting hot thing. I've been in a boat or two with dark skins, and those seats get pretty friggin hot. That would be my primary concern.

Plus1.gifPlus1.gif That dark grey will get really hot! On the plus side, it would probably look much cleaner than a lighter color.

thanks guys, light gray won't clash with dark grey interior? I take it that is what you are saying.

It is not easy to pick colors but it is like everyone says, if you and yours like it, that is all that matters. FWIW, I don't think light grey clashes with dark grey. Sounds pretty safe to me.

That is the answer I was looking for. personally, I enjoy watching the inexperienced boaters step on that dark interior. It sure is funny. Thumbup.gif Thing is they only do it once. On the white, I got no m-grain that stuff sucks to keep clean.
