2003 Sportster Carb

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me me what size Holley is supposed to be stock on this engine? It appears as if the last person has changed it, and it is too large for the engine to handle. Not sure of the size, but it is very much larger than the 600cfm on my other boat. Thanks in advance for any answers.

I have a 1999 Sporty Lx and it has a Holley 600 with a vacuum secondary on it.

ok. it appears as if the carb is somewhere between a 750 and 850 cfm on my boat. it looked as if it was getting too much gas when running, and it was working terrible. put a kit in the carb and it works great now. it is probably the stock carb as it has a marine part #. some dirt must have bounced free on the 1600 mile trip from north carolina to nova scotia. thank you scottman for your reply.

ps. i love my new malibu. awesome boat!
