I've been converted... just sold my SV211 and am picking up an '05 VLX next week! Can't wait to get in it and ride. Doesn't have the Illusion but the Titan III tower and it does have optional bow ballast. How's this boat for surfing with stock ballast and a few people? I could pull it off with the 211 and am hoping this will be better as the 211 didn't have wedge and only 730lbs of ballast.

Yeah, i sold it and made some money so I could keep upgrading. I did really enjoy the 211 though a lot. Liked it a lot better than the CC 210. Anxious to see how I like the Bu in comparison! I'll probably list it for sale too though and continue to try and work my way up and up....

It's good, but it gets better if you add a little additional weight in the right places. :)

Enjoy the new BU. The 05 VLX was the first year of the new body style and a great wakeboarding boat.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Supras so I would be interested in hearing some comparisons, both good and bad.

Anyway, I don't think you can work yourself much higher! Good Luck!
