Ballast for 06 Sunsetter

Well I spent one post whining about the 05-06 SSLXI ski wake. Put everyone int the bow and wake was much better at 28 off at 30-32 mph and 15 off at 30. Thanks for the tips.

Now I would like to know the best way to ballast it for wakeboarders. Thinking about a 500lb bag for the ski locker and maybe some 250 lbs for either side of the trunk

Any opinions?

I have a 96 and my best set up is 440lbs each side of the engine and 350 in the locker. I can't run w/the wedge at that weight, needs to re-prop....

Be carefull with weight in the back trunk. Don't know about the post 04 models, but the pre05s have no reinforcement between the trunk and the top of the gas tank. Too bad. It would be great to get 400-500lbs in the back out of the way and out of sight.

It is a larger boat, with a HUGE trunk, I will ask my dealer, I check on what the capacity is. I have quite a bit more room than the classic SSLXI, the side sacs would also be a viable option.
