I would be so grateful if someone could tell me how to replace the shaft on my 97 sunsetter LX. It is direct drive. Also if someone knows where I could buy one that would help out alot too.

i hit a rock last season and had to have this, the prop, and strut all replaced. i went to the local ski antique dealer/service and had them do it. they told me they just got the parts from the nearest malibu dealer. so i guess that's your best bet.

can't help you on the replacement though. that's above me. the strut looks like a breeze though.
