to add closure here my 2019 25 LSV scaled at exactly 8,000 on the trailer. That was with 10% gas, all ballasts empty ofcourse and a bunch of toys stowed in the lockers (tubes, life jackets, ect...)

Full on gas no ballast the 2019 25 LSV weighs 8500 on the trailer, so plan according to that.

I ended up getting a 2024 Sierra Denali 1500 which is rated at 8900 but should easily tow if a few times a year. If you wana go nuts theres the HD versions which tow 12-14K.  Added bonus for those that get the 2025 Ram Charger, I might do that when it comes out. I think I will let it come out for a few years 1st though and let Stellantis fix the bugs..https://www.caranddriver.com/ram/1500-ramcharger

I love that Ram is reusing the name of an SUV for a pickup.  Wonder if it'll come standard with a topper?

Do dealers not allow people to listen to these systems before ordering?

I would think a customer would demand at least some type of demo. If not in the same boat another one with something close.

Going into it blind and then complaining after the fact is kind of on the buyer IMO. Salesman might think the one being ordered sounds great based on his past experience listening to the same setup in another boat, but that is very subjective between different people.

       Everybody needs to relax…

There will be new Malibu dealers in EVERY affected market by July 1st and many well before that.

Same thing I heard as well. Most all already in place just waiting on the final stuff that has to be done.
