I think you're on the right track. I had similar symptoms in my previous boat (Prostar 205). Like you, I narrowed it down to the tilt helm assembly. Replacing it resolved the issue.

Yep same issue I had. This will sometime cause O2/emissions codes because leaks in the systems bleeds fresh air into the post cat sensor causing the ecu to think there’s unburnt O2 in the system where it shouldn’t be.

+1 on no fluid in the motor cavity. I would think you will need to find that leak and replace that seal/oring. Would probably need to replace the hydraulic oil that leaked out and clean the electrical side real well with electrical contact cleaner and dry out before reassembly and testing.

Likely you could get away with replacing just the midbass drivers. In each speaker as that’s probably what blew.
