    • @justgary Oh, I'm not debating you but I don't know if that's going to be my first go to here.  Beyond the carbon (knock on wood) she's reunning great.  Very smooth at all speeds.  My research shows that I'd have additional issues with a hung up injector so I'm not positive I want to pull those.  It's a job for sure.

    • While they are in there, I’d ask them to take a quick look at the exhaust manifolds and make sure there aren’t any broken studs. I think you should already have the newer style manifolds but that would be a sucky thing to have happen out of warranty (like me, 133k miles).

@Bozboat no no, wasn't you! I'd found that site based off of something here in some posting (wait, maybe it WAS you! ;)  ), and I was thrilled that I could still buy them because we've had a broken gas cap on my buddy's Sportster for years.  And that place is local to me (as is Bakes). Bought it, THEN looked them up on a whim on Bakes site, and it was $12 better price!

My starboard rear ballast won't drain. Pump doesn't even seem to be turning on unless I put the fuse in the bypass slot. Fuse doesn't seem to be blown either as when I put the same fuse in the bypass slot the pump drains. Would it still drain with a bad fuse in bypass? Any ideas?

    • New dealer said they are replacing the following:

      New transmission assembly

      New transmission cooler

      Cam phasers

      water pump

      Both valve covers

      Front diff overhaul

Hopefully will be done by end of next week

Still considering replacing my Jeep with a HD, but will be keeping the Ex for now.

The last dealer didn’t even put any record of it being in for service. So I don’t think they even looked at anything.
