Spark at the plug and fuel should fire. Hm. Is it trying to fire up? Sputtering/back-firing or anything ?

I did find the ECU and checked all the fuses. I’ve got 60 psi at the fuel rail, and I checked spark by pulling a plug, i’m not sure if it would do this if the ignition module were bad?

2009 Malibu has the ECM and fuse/relay box just above the transmission. 

For the engine to start and run you need spark at the correct time, the proper amount of fuel, and cylinder compression.  Check your spark plug condition and cylinder compression.  Verify that the injectors are being energized and supplying fuel.  Check for a loose or corroded ground cable on the engine block stud.

Have you checked the safety lanyard? Make sure it’s on there.
