2773 will definitely give you more low end. 3065 likely will as well, but not as dramatic.
I have them on my engine, no problems going on 4 years. Temp-wise they are fine. But they are very bendy, if there is any weight on them they will not support it.
I have a 1996 response and the fuel pump was whining like crazy. The boat ran fine but the pump was very loud. I searched the site and saw that there was a screen that could be cleaned. When I took the line off the screen was completely clogged and while I was cleaning it it got damaged. Is this screen required? Thanks in advance

I believe there are several who have used them with FAE conversions. They are certainly temp rated.
Once I looked into all the special cable clamps required (so they don't cut the silicone) The price got super near the price for the OEM part from Bakes so I did Bakes.
My nagging concern with the Silicone was whether it was structurally sound enough. After removing the part yesterday, I don't think that would be an issue so long as you delete the muffler. I believe with the muffler still installed I would be more concerned.
The original part lasted 15 years so hopefully I can get another 15.
EDIT: The can coozie in the picture got me to the boat launch! Lucky me my lift cross cable broke that morning so I had to get it on the trailer.Edited by 95echelon
