Appreciate the info in this thread.  Think I have the same issue.  Thanks!

This is a really old thread.  You may find that your best bet is to remove the MMDC, open it up, and resolder the pins on the main connectors where they meet the circuit board.  You may be able to see visible cracks in the solder.  Put it back together and try it.

If no joy, everyone else here will simultaneously direct you to the Ron Tanis TRD solution of reasonably priced new gauges and controller.

    • I just completed this MDC delete conversion on my parents 2001 Sanger dxII. It was a bit more involved than this one because it has the 3 5” gauges and we converted to 6 individual gauges (cheaper) and I had to custom make a gauge panel but overall went well! Reach out if you need input!

    • A lot of variables, but just to throw it out... I followed one that sold from a local (non-Malibu) dealer for just under $100k a few months ago. It was well equipped with 200 hours. Things have definitely trended down since then, so $90k-$100k sounds about right.

    • You can go to onlyinboards.com and search for that boat and what it's been selling for on their site.
