    • Drop dead gorgeous boat.  I just drooled on my keyboard.  No idea on value.  Most late 80s/early 90s closed bow boats that are in great condition seem to be in the $12-$18K range, but it's hard to put yours into that category given all the work that has been done.  This was clearly a labor of love vs a "fix it on the cheap".  I took 7 years to restore a 67 Mustang and even doing most of the work myself I knew it wasn't going to be a money-maker when I sold it.  I did it to make it how I wanted to create it and enjoy it, and I loved the process.

I'd list it on a website, like Bring A Trailer, where you have a lot of high end buyers that appreciate craftsmanship and want something nobody else has on the water.

    • This is not a very common boat which can be good or bad for selling.  There are only 3 on only inboards.  There is a very nice 2001 Sunscape VLX for $24K that looks mint, 300 hours, but only has 1 photo and has no tower.  There is also an original owner 2001 with factory titan tower and 305 hours for $18K.  That seems like a steal, and having a one owner boat adds $$ in my opinion.

I'd say your in the + or - $20K range.  You have the no carpet interior with new vinyl...huge plus there for any buyer.  And I think your color combo is a popular one that will appeal to a wide range of buyers.

      GLWS!

Yes, deposit (what your dealer may require when place your order) is different (ie usually lower) than down payment (what your dealer collects when you take delivery of said order).

Thank you, that's what I was wondering.

quick edit: Don't want to derail, so the knowledge about deposits is good in that it shows how a buyer can develop a good long term relationship between their dealer and the manufacturer. Good for everyone and with luck a better finished product. The optimist in me say's remain hopeful for a remedy that works for all the players involved.

Towed the G for the first time today. It is better at towing than the Raptor, but based on the first few 30 miles, the gas mileage was about the same. While acceleration and stability was very good, could definitely tell the boat was back there when braking.

I’m very happy I went HD diesel, primarily because it’s a nicer ride with the family in the truck, but it really isn’t night and day from my Raptor with airbags. Where I’m really impressed with GMC is that’s  it a good a winter daily driver. I’ve got some complaints with some of the layout, but overall it fits my needs perfectly.

I wasn't aware you guys got any snow this winter.

Although gobbled up by a much bigger company years ago, I believe Extreme Trailers is still around here in SoCal if you were thinking about buying new.
