       Everybody needs to relax…

There will be new Malibu dealers in EVERY affected market by July 1st and many well before that.

Same thing I heard as well. Most all already in place just waiting on the final stuff that has to be done.

    • Do dealers not allow people to listen to these systems before ordering?

    • I think this is a case by case basis, but as mentioned before, dealer relationship would be the major player for me. When it's the week of fourth of july or the week before your vacation and you need a quick repair, having a good relationship with your dealer and getting quick service is invaluable and priceless.

Ok sorry for the late response. So my coolant hose routing was an issue along with a bad thermostat. If I ran it off of a hose pipe at idle it sucks it completely flat. So I made an attachment that’s all metal pipe to go into a large bucket to draw water from while the garden hose runs in it. Worked well and was able to work out the issues with cooling. Off to the lake tomorrow after work and see if I can get a feel of the boat.

The 92mm throttle body was making an awfully loud whistle at idle that would drive anyone crazy! It was the idle air control port in front of the blade that was creating it. I opened it up and smoothed out the surface and got it to stop. It figures the only two cheap parts on the entire build both caused me problems. One of these days I will learn but I’m starting to get long in the tooth. 54 this month.

I just put my 2022 23 LSV with the M5 in the water for the first time.  On the test drive, I noticed the same thing - that the boat felt under-propped.  I couldn't see what prop was on the boat when I test drove it before buying.  Once I bought it and got the window sticker, I saw it was the same as yours (3537).  This thread was so helpful for me - I ordered the 2805 about a month ago.

Before launching yesterday, I swapped to the 2805 and wow, what a different boat.  So quiet and turns much fewer revs.  With 100% fuel and two people it easily hit low 40s too.  I have the Sumo 650 PnP bags installed and it easily got on plane with full wedge and all ballast full.  Really excited about how well it performed!  Bring on summer!

      Great feedback, thank you.

My 3537 is now a spare. I took it to a reputable prop shop and they are adding some pitch and cup. I'll report the results back.
