    • The coolant tank has a High and low mark on the side. At a cold engine, should it be between the marks or is that at hot temp?

Who knows what the reality is, but Tommy's and their associated businesses own pretty much the entire "downtown" area of Walloon Lake Michigan.  The comments regarding personal property in Boyne City could be referring to these properties.

They pretty much rebuilt the entire Walloon Lake downtown in northern Michigan.  Walloon as a very upscale lake for the area and the downtown area was very run down and not a destination other than the lake until around 2013, when Tommy's opened.  They dumped a TON of $ into the area.  They own 2 great restaurants and a very nice hotel.  They just completed an upscale condo building and another is about 75% completed, both with retail areas.  The area they developed is incredibly nice and we visit often, we are hoping all of this does not have a negative effect on that area!

and how do you think they paid for that expansion😂

Just picked up my 2023 m220. This will be my last boat with Wetsounds stereo. I will do stereo delete on all the rest of my Malibu boats. The digital tuning on these amps is hot garbage. Don’t even get me started on Malibus stupid plastic boxes. The sub rattles so bad when the bass hits my wife thought something was going to explode on the boat.

I should have known nothing has gotten better with the garbage tuning and box I had in my 2020 Malibu. I know Wetsounds is good stuff, but you’d think Wetsounds wouldn’t want their name on this stuff and let it leave the factory like this. There is no way a Wetsounds tech would listen to this stereo in my $200+ boat and say yeah good to go. Send it out.

      So fricken frustrating!!!!

I will post pics of the box I took out. It had so many gaps and missing screws it was embarrassing.  The speaker mounted in the box had literally 4 screws into it and the sub is a shallow mount sub. WTF would they put in a shallow mount sub?  Makes zero sense.

I can’t remember a time in the last 20yrs of Malibu ownership, forum activity, and boat show inspections ( or any boat manufacturer for that matter) was impressive.

It’s not too difficult to order a minimum oem stereo and go aftermarket on several components to maintain factory interface integration.

full stereo delete may present challenges with oem wiring/ black box, tower mounting hardware etc.

Order the basic cabin stereo with or without towers depending on what you ultimately want, if you want rev10 I’d say get the factory models with the Malibu cans. If you want rev 12, un check the tower speakers option, but don’t order the factory sub.

Put your factory Amps on Facebook marketplace and get the Plug adaptors to interface with factory wiring, drop 2 subs in the boat (helm, ski locker) and call it a day.

to add closure here my 2019 25 LSV scaled at exactly 8,000 on the trailer. That was with 10% gas, all ballasts empty ofcourse and a bunch of toys stowed in the lockers (tubes, life jackets, ect...)

Full on gas no ballast the 2019 25 LSV weighs 8500 on the trailer, so plan according to that.

I ended up getting a 2024 Sierra Denali 1500 which is rated at 8900 but should easily tow if a few times a year. If you wana go nuts theres the HD versions which tow 12-14K.  Added bonus for those that get the 2025 Ram Charger, I might do that when it comes out. I think I will let it come out for a few years 1st though and let Stellantis fix the bugs..https://www.caranddriver.com/ram/1500-ramcharger

I love that Ram is reusing the name of an SUV for a pickup.  Wonder if it'll come standard with a topper?
