Thank You sir! Man, I should have just listened to you from the start. I let my unrealistic expectations get ahold of me and started her at $40k with no bites. After a week and half I dropped to $33k. Got at least 1 interested party a day from then on. I’m happy with the $30k. Time to move on from her even though I don’t want too. I took her out for one last run a couple weeks ago. Man she handles like a jet ski, even though I’m not a fan of reckless jet skiers 😂😂 gonna miss her

I’m not sure! I was never able to find a solid original price on it back in 01. I feel really good on the $30k even though I’m taking a loss with what I put into her but it’s a boat 😂 not a 69 Camaro

You'd need roughly 5 gallons of toluene in 24 gallons of 87 octane to get a 91 ish octane 29 gallon blend. Depending on where you source it from, toluene can be anywhere from $15 to $50/gallon, aka it doesn't make sense to use as bulk octane booster.
Thanks for catching that. Never do math in public. You need 17.4% toluene to bring 87 to 91.
Toluene used to be pretty cheap, but now has that "aromatic hydrocarbon" solvent EPA business going on. It is still in spray paint and paint thinners in addition to gasoline. I'm pretty sure by the smell that it is a large component of the small engine fuel they sell in one gallon cans at hardware stores these days.
The thing is, if you have 87 octane and need 91 octane, you have to add something. Adding higher octane means you add less of it. You would need 44.4% of 100 octane "race gas" to get 91 octane. The toluene would come out cheaper if it were 2.5 times as expensive as the race gas, which it generally isn't.

There are several threads on here from people that have used an extractor and the tube gets stuck or breaks off.
The oil filter part number is Napa 1060 for the larger size, and 1069 for the smaller. Personal preference, but I run the 1060.
I use Mobil Delvac 15w40 in mine, cheap and plentiful.
Looks like those spark plug wires are original, you might consider changing them.
Thank you!
