    • So couldn’t get the spot for the diagnosis.. So rather than wait around I dove further in and honestly should’ve done this first as far as troubleshooting. So today is a clear day and Ihave done some research and thanks to @csleaver gathered what typically causes this. Impeller looked just fine when the guy changed oil and checked the impeller. Water pump Impeller is toast. Exhaust manifolds are most likely still an issue and now probably needing head gaskets. So now I’m close to positive the events that transpired when oil was changed and it was run through the flush port. No muffs were used or the fake a lake set up. He went straight to the flush port connection and revved the hell out of it. So either this is coincidence my 2 year old water pump impeller melted or this happened because of negligence.

    • I have had the sane issue on my 2005 23 lsv.   It's just a but off.  I pulled the trailer up another foot and thar fixed it.

Yes.  I took it in for that about a month ago.  Technician said it is operating normally.

Second photo was before the Tstat upgrade.  Warranty expires mid August.

I can't find anything on that TSB.  Your link shows what the problem is but doesn't really describe the symptoms.  Wish I knew what they were because I am not getting any satisfaction.

I also have a ZF8HP transmission in my Hemi Grand Cherokee.  ZF makes a great transmission.

Right now I would just like to get this issue figured out.  I don't want to have to replace the Expedition, but that seems to be the road I am headed down.  I've always been a MOPAR guy.  I don't see me buying another Ford again.

I'd like to wait and see if I can get any movement with Ford/the dealer, but yes I am sure the fluid needs to be changed again.

Slipping and hard shifts are the symptoms. Mine especially slips when cold.

    • I did order a red instead of amber or vice versa so it doesn’t match.

I used a stainless steel machine screw, lock washer and nut

That’s kinda what I was thinking of doing instead!
