Do you have a key switch you can use to try starting the engine?
No, I don't have a key switch.
1. There's at least one black wire that has a few wires showing. I ordered liquid tape.
2. The orange wire was charred but the casing wasn't compromised

Yes it seems that way. But that is how you get a good wave.

You can replace an axle. Use a screwdriver or other sharp rod as a probe to punch at the metal in the frame. Low spots on the bottom will be the worst. If you find any cancer, it is probably time to replace the trailer.

Came across this while under the boat today. Options? Is dexter still helping people out with new axles? This is in the middle of the axle where the drain whole is. Rear axle looks good.
Thanks, I know this have probably been covered many times over!
