    • 2007 vRide w/ LCR 320: Getting a dash display message that reads "ENG ECU - NO DATA OVER 25 SEC".

Boat has been having somewhat long cranks. Replaced starter this morning after getting current one tested that read bad. After installing new starter, boat will not crank at all and dash reads ENG ECU - NO DATA OVER 25 SEC. Battery switch was shut off during starter replacement. Re-installed old starter and same message; engine will not crank.

Boat ran fine while boarding this morning.

Where do I start to look? Is there a fuse that popped? If so, where? Really hoping its not the MMDC.

      Thanks in advance.

      Trying to find a leak

I realize this post was done a while ago, but I have a 2005 LX and I’m dealing with major carbon. I took it into a dealer and they told me they adjusted the fuel pressure regulator which isn’t possible. All you can do is replace it. I’m running rec 90 Gas and I’m getting carbon all over the back of the boat and the sides of the boat. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you ever run it at high RPM?  That can help blow carbon off of the valve tops.

Also, did the dealer use a scan tool to look at ECM data?  The engine will run rich if it thinks it is not warmed up.

    • That’s what I was figuring. I’d rather pay more than suffer later
