Yep, the other 8 are on the lower side of the motor just below the valve covers.

I need to replace my raw water pump on my 2012 LSV, but the muffler is absolutely blocking the necessary access to truly working on the transom area. Does anyone have suggestions as to how to remove this muffler easily? I’ve tried to loosen the thick hoses which attach the muffler to the engine exhaust but those hoses are really thick and I cannot get them to budge! Any ideas or hacks would be much appreciated, thank you in advance! 

Wife snapped a pic of our OG LSV when I was on my way to pick her up at the dock this weekend.  Yes, it’s a tube, I know….. I’ve been a skier and driver, I don’t know how to surf yet and therefore teaching my kids has been a challenge.  

Both of those ideas probably would have worked great! Thanks for the replies.  I ended up grabbing a couple machine screws and lock nuts and this will do for now.
