      Am I missing something?

      Isn't there a transmission and a V drive?

I wouldn't put transmission fluid in a Vdrive. A Vdrive needs gear and bearing oil.

Both take ATF in my boat.

I had a lady call law enforcement on me because I was throwing pebbles at the ducks. Imagine if I used your broomstick.

Throw pebbles at her next time.

25 feet is well within range of a pea shooter.  Would be harmless to the lake, your cover, etc.  I had one of these things as a kid and it's remarkable how accurate they are.  Not sure if you can even find them anymore though.

    • The manual auto-set wedge only has two positions, stowed and deployed.  When deployed into the "floating" or down position it has a slight range of movement determined by the optimal maximum drag, but the position is not adjustable.

The power wedge has an auto feature that lowers and raises the wedge automatically from the down "lift" position to the selected drag position at different speeds when using the cruise speed control.

    • Hello there, I’ve got a 06 21’ vlx with the auto set wedge and I’ve noticed no matter what speed when surfing or pulling a wake boarder it stays all the way down and doesn’t seem to be setting itself in the water. Just curious if that’s normal or I’ve done something wrong in installation

    • Could be a problem with the neutral safety switch in the shift controller.
