  1. Hello friends! Last weekend I added a hot water shower to my 2018 22 VLX. The electrical is currently wired with the hot lead coming from the 10 amp circuit underneath the throttle followed by a rocker switch. The ground from the bus bar under the helm. Unfortunately, the 10 amp hot lead labeled shower found under the throttle is always hot (provided the battery is on). This is problematic as sometimes I forget to turn the battery selector to off and I would hate for the shower switch to remain on and drain my battery. I would prefer that the shower could only run when the system/malview is turned on. The plan is to add a relay after the 10 amp circuit however I'm unsure where to get a trigger for the relay that will only be hot when the system is up and running. Any best practices or suggestions?
  2. I have a 2019 23LSV with the PCM Monsoon 450 6.0L engine with about 140 hours. At the end of the 2019 summer season our fuel pump relay went out and was replaced with a new relay. Since putting the boat in the water this season the fuel pump relay has started to act up on us again. Occasionally when trying to start the boat it would crank repeatedly but not turn over (since it wasn't getting fuel), so when this happened I would pull out the fuel pump relay and put it back in which would usually fix the issue and we would be on our way. Now this issue happens just about every time we try to start the boat. The last time I started the boat it ran for about 30 seconds before dying. I have since put the old relay back in and that has worked for the time being but eventually the same issue arrises. I have ordered a few more spare relays to have on hand just in case we get stranded out on the water but my question is, what could be causing the fuel pump relay to burn out like this so frequently? I assume it could possibly be a bad/clogged fuel pump, clogged fuel filter, or an issue with the wiring harness that is providing too much amperage to the relay but I'm no mechanic. Has anyone else had a similar issue or can share some insight? *Edit: Forgot to mention one of the times the boat started up the engine was knocking/ running rough and got an error message on the screen that read "low fuel rail pressure." Again, removed the relay and put it back in and all was back to normal.
  3. I have a 2005 Malibu Response LX with a 320 LCR Engine. I had to replace one of my relays this morning. I have 3 of them and the clips are kind of shot. They really don’t hold that well. Any idea where you can by them?
  4. 98 Malibu Sunsetter LX . I was out surfing; 3 turns went well but 4th had no power then stopped completely. Put a fuel pressure guage on the rail and got only 3 pounds of pressure. Replaced the fuel pump. Tested again and got 13 pounds of pressure. Replaced the fuel pressure regulator. Tested again and have no pressure. Thinking maybe fuel pump relay but I can't find it. Can someone send me a picture or tell me what/where to look for the relays? There are fuses behind the carburater on the same bracket as the ICM with 2 others marked fuel injector, fuel pump and something else. I don't see relays though.
