  1. Hello brilliant minded Malibus. We recently purchsed a 2016 23 lsv, had to hauled up to utah from texas. tried it out on our local lake, appeared that the wedge remained in Lift (down)position and we received the high mph warning while driving, Took it off water, and have read multiple threads including the great thread on calibrating through the debug assist. My issue trying to debug is that the wedge doesn't move with the +- touch screen to see if the voltage aligns. when attempting to switch between presets (wakeboard, surf et) the position doesn't change. any thoughtsf? thanks so much what a wealth of knowledge on this site matt
  2. Hey all, I have a 2016 Malibu 23LSV. Last weekend when I had the boat I noticed that the power wedge wouldn't go down at all- its stuck at the Stow position. The debug screen reads 3.56 volts and 200 when at the stow position- hitting the + button on the debug screen produces a whine in the actuator but no actual movement of the wedge (probably because it is already all the way up, I assume) but pressing the - button produces nothing- no sound from the actuator, no clicking from the relay. Based on the tons of research that I did across this forum I assumed it was a relay problem so I ordered a new one and tried to install it myself- when I did that all I got was a clicking noise from the relay when pressing the - and + buttons, no noise from the actuator at all. I put the old one back in and same issues as before. A few other notes: Initially I was not getting any message about "check wedge cal" on the screen until I started messing with the +/- controls on the debug screen, now it keeps popping up all the time. I removed the wedge sensor and played with the bolt setting, it was reading the changes in voltage when moving the bolt. I turned it back to the 3.5-3.6 volt range and screwed the sensor back on. All wires coming from the actuator in the boat seemed to be in good condition, no cuts or exposed wire. Did not notice any loose bolts and the actuator pin seems to be fine. Any suggestions? Could it be the actuator itself? I'm just not sure because it is making noise when hitting the + button on debug. Could a faulty viper I/O module be a cause of this? Thanks in advance for anyone's help.
  3. Hey there.. I have a 2008 wakesetter with original power-wedge actuators. One of the actuators has stopped working, and on tear down of the housing I determined it's one gear that broke. Lenco does not sell replacement parts, and I really don't want to buy 2 new actuators.. Both motors are fine. The #s on the gear is 30/10, 14.5 degrees, 50150-002 B. If anyone can let me know where I could get that gear or even if anyone has some old actuators that I could get parts from that would be great..I have called my local dealer to see if they have old parts no luck.. Thanks Chris
  4. Hello so I am now a Malibu owner, or later this week anyway. Picked up a 2008 LSV 247 Wakesetter. I am looking for a few tidbits 1. The Power wedge does not work and the wires look to be frayed and the actuators are popped open. Saw some of the post on this and might need to do new actuator and control box since these are probably 5 lobe? 2. Glove box door(could double as an anchor) seems to be only attached to the top lip of the seat? Is this right? is there supposed to be a strut? 3. I noticed the entire divers side panel(with the radio and throttle) is floating is pulls away from the hull? Brackets mounts? I didn't see anything obvious? 4. On my Nautique I replaced the swim platform with Seadeck, anyone do that yet? is there a unique part number per platform 5. Will tube, surf and wake board, any prop advice California lake 900ft elevation average 4-6 people 6. Any must change items, I plan to do oil, drive, plugs, cap rotor impeller etc.. I am sure there will be more Steven
  5. We have a 2013 23 lsv with a power wedge 1. Our wake has always been amazing but this year we can’t seem to get the port wake crisp using the wedge. If the wedge is all the way down (minimum) or stowed the wake is fine. But the wedge anywhere in-between and the port wake washes out. We’ve tried all sorts of weight balancing and ensuring the ballast are both filled. We suspect something is wrong with the wedge. (1) We notice it isn’t perfectly level. Both stowed and deployed at max the starboard side is a bit higher. (2) We also noticed the bolts connecting the wedge arms to the base are not even. The port bolt has more space between the base and the arm and less bolt thread coming out into the middle. See photo. (3) The wedge has some give up and down but seems from other posts that is expected? Any thoughts on if this could cause our wake issue? If so suggestions to fix? If not suggestions on other potential things that can cause the wake problem? image here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/tkFSVmCy2XUgfWT4A
  6. Does Power Wedge I have lift mode?
