    Fresh Air Exhaust - FAE

I reach out to FAE if they had any spring discounts/group buys and they offered a group buy discount if anyone if interested!! FRESH AIR EXHAUST SPRING INTO SAVINGS PROMO/GROUP BUY! ORDERS MUST BE PLACED FROM 5/10 – 5/17 10% OFF – USE CODE: “MALIBU/AXIS10”* *Discounts applies to both FAE and muffler replacement when ordering both the FAE and muffler replacement. Discount applies to all direct, retail sales only. Cannot be combined with other offers. Whether you are making repairs or wanting to be prepared to hit the water this season, now is the time to order! LEARN MORE at https://www.freshairexhaust.com/your-boat/axis_boat/ or https://www.freshairexhaust.com/your-boat/malibu/. We have a surf exhaust for every Malibu and Axis boat, both single and dual exhaust outlet. Our Fresh Air Exhaust systems are the original surf exhaust, working to make boating safer and more enjoyable since 2004. With the FAE installed, you will experience reduced exhaust fumes (include carbon monoxide) by at least 90% and reduced engine noise, up to 50%. We are the cleanest and quietest exhaust system for every inboard boat! If your boat does not already have a Fresh Air Exhaust, now’s a great time to experience the difference FAE makes! Spring is also a great time to check your fiberglass muffler for any cracks or leaks. We offer stainless muffler replacements that will not degrade over time like fiberglass. You can learn more about our muffler replacement at: https://www.freshairexhaust.com/home/mufflers/. Discounts available on all direct, retail sales only. If both an FAE and muffler replacement are being ordered, both discounts can be used together. When checking out online, please note that no charge is automatically made to your card entered at checkout. Our team will follow up with each boat owner to verify details of the order and request measurements, if necessary, to complete the FAE build. MEASUREMENTS ARE NOT NEEDED TO PLACE YOUR ORDER AND LOCK IN DISCOUNT. Our current turnaround time is an estimated one to two weeks (estimated based on current production leads/subject to change). Any questions can be directed to our team [email protected] or by calling 512-647- 7321. Thank you for the continued support of our family owned and operated company and mission to ensure that everyone is breathing Fresh Air while they’re on the water!
  2. Hello Crew! 2017 23lsv with the factory turned down exhaust tip. I ordered the factory FAE and was told I needed the exhaust hose and coupler. I disassembled and found I already had the hose. Everything bolted up with no problem. The parts person says I need the coupler installed but cannot see any reason why. Anyone have any experience with this?
  3. Hello! New to the crew here. I am looking at a 2013 mxz. Looks to be in great overall shape, but the fresh air exhaust pipe has a white film/buildup on the outside of the stainless portion. I’ve never seen this before. Anyone know if this is something to be concerned about? Fresh water boat. So I don’t think it is salt buildup.
  4. I have a 2001 Sunsetter VLX with a manual wedge (stainless foil). I'm considering adding a FAE, but I'm concerned that the FAE will make setting and releasing the manual wedge even more or pain than it is today. Questions: 1) is this a valid concern, 2) if I do the FAE upgrade with the manual wedge and I hate it, then do I have to redo the FAE again if I upgrade to a floating wedge? 3) I don't know exactly how the floating wedge works, but it sure seems like one could make a manual wedge "float" by simply not locking it in at the bottom. Does this work?
