dum dum here.

2019 T22 - no push and definetly,  nothing like in video and pictures. We are throwing a hail marry for help.

bow bag

790# wakemaker bags in rear lockers

8 - 50 lb bags spread out we we have move them all over the place

10.8 speed

wave looks good but zero sweet spot or push. you have to hold the rope.

Swim platform sunk

What is the issue? Maybe the tanks are not gettig filled, even tho the swim platform is buried in the water.

Roast me and give me answers.

Wedge setting?

However my guess is you have too much rear weight. I’d experiment with all the lead in the bow and those 790’s only 1/2 to 3/4’s full. Most of the new style hulls only need 550’s in the back.

@RajinCajun Swim platform shouldn't be under water when sitting still and fully ballasted.

Mine is, but a T250.   Anyways, @RajinCajun try 11.2-11.6 mph.    Preset surf left (starboard) is 10.8mph and wedge 3 on my boat (with all ballasts full except starboard bag ~50%, 850 PnP's in the rear).   We tried it the other day, and same thing, minimal push.   Back to our usual 11.4 wedge 4/5 and wave was perfect again.    How is the bow rise with these settings?    Right/port wave should be easier to dial in....

You may need some weight in the bow or less weight in the rear. We use 11.2-11.4mph and wedge 3, I had to add 150lbs to the bow to keep it down enough. As soon as the bow goes up you lose push

What @CDAWake said, drain a little in the rear and move the lead up front if you can, raise the speed a bit and see how it feels.   Honestly I can surf on the right side with LESS weight in the right rear and wedge on 1 just fine.   But yes, bow high = engine strain and you're "shooting" the wave down into the water instead of back behind the boat.    Don't want the gate so submerged that water is flowing over and into the opposite side dirtying the wake, but want it in the water.   Focus on that bow/stern angle and you should be able to get the wave right.

Not trying to be rude here but I have a couple questions.
how long have you been surfing?  I’ve seen people complain that they have no push and the reality is, they just don’t know how to surf. How much do you weigh? What board are you riding? I’ve taught many people to surf and a ton can’t stay on the wave until they get their feet in the right position on the board.
how deep is the lake you’re trying to make a wave on? Shallow water greatly affects the wave.

new to surfing but not new to boats. Push is push, but I get what you’re saying. If the sweet spot is there it is small.

will check This weekend.

I have an 18t22, boat needs nose weight for push so the big sac in the front is critical and not enough but with that and std center rear plus plug and play you get a nice surf.  I find rear full on surf side and opp about 80% with minimal wedge is best for me added 150lead to battery box for more length.  Typically only 2 of us on the boat.

A lot of new surfers are looking for a pocket on the wave, where they don’t have to do much but stand there. I learned to surf in 2017 on a broadcast. And we were looking for a sweet spot. I carry a broadcast on my own boat to teach people on. But I can’t ride it anymore it’s too slow, I fall off the wave every time on it. My point being some boards are slow. My next suggestion to you is to move your front foot forward and move both of your feet more toeside especially the front foot. Being too much heel side (which most of us learned from wakeboarding and snowboarding) pulls you out and off the wave. At least for me foot position is very critical but I do move my feet around the board quite a bit when I am surfing.
Cheers! I hope you get it figured out.  I learned to surf on a 2017 A22 and we did it with no rear plug and play…

Ditto the person who said that your swim step shouldn't be submerged under water when idling or floating.  Excessive rear weight might be your problem.  I use PNP 550 and only have about 3/4 full.  Wedge on 3 with 4 adults.
