Need new alternator for 2001 Malibu Sunscape 23LSV - Indmar

Hello,

 

I'm trying to locate the correct replacement alternator for my 2001 Malibu Sunscape 23LSV - Indmar - Anyone know a part number, or replacement part? 

I was told by a local Tommy's Marine that this was a limited 2 year run alternator and is very specific.

My 2002 had the AC Delco 7SI alternator...I'm fairly certain this is the direct replacement, but do your own research:

Or have the old one rebuilt at  an alternator shop, just tell them several times that it is for a boat.

Or, you could upgrade it... on the cheap
