2000 Sportster Rub Rail

Hi guys, I’m new to this site but recently bought a 2000 Sportster LX.

The trailers front roller seems to be high on these and the rub rail on the nose is damaged quite bad. Anyone know how to know what size and what rub rail these need? Have the same problem/replaced and have a part number?

Also, does anyone know why some 2000 sportsters don’t have the Malibu logo on the side? Then DomedNumbers.com doesn’t sell the 2000 version. Only up to 99 and the 2001 and on.

Taco Marine semi rigid rub rail 1.5" I believe is the closest match.  The center piece does stick out a little more than the factory one.  I have been looking around for rub rail that matches closer to factory for a while now.

Last year I went with Domed numbers but just used the "newer" font.  The one with all lower case... looks great.
