I was mostly curious to see how hard it might be to machine a new one and avoid the wait.

I had the boat out yesterday and the day started out fine but then it started leaking later in the day.  I'm going to have to take it off again, going to see if any caps become available soon before I go down the fabrication path.  I'll be sure to take a picture next time it's off.
