From my experience, this hose does see some water when it rains and not sure I would want that piped into the storage compartment it the integrity of the hose was compromised.

Bingo! I had taken the boat home in the rain and after getting home found water all over my amp and sub because water had been pushed around the vent tube at the top. Mad.gif Now I have sealed up that area.

As a side not I'm installing a small fan over my amp to help out on the 110* days.
