I can't confirm on if there are fewer boats to sell but I can say many dealers have been sold out of inventory and certain build slots for a long time now. Mastercraft told dealers they were only getting so many of the top models, x star and pro star have been sold out since the fall. Nautique has been the same way with G's as well. Likely safe to say it is a mix of high demand and low supply.

I hadn't been told of any surcharge so I was thinking I was in the clear but no such luck. I was informed a 3% surcharge was added to my 25LSV.  I ordered in October.
