Agreed, table rock is way better.  Your 23 footer will be one of the smallest boats on the lake of the ozarks. Also, the lake patrol is thick on the ozarks for good reason, watch your booze intake.

Any chance you can post a shot of that in the manual where the dealer must do 10 hr service? I have done all my own services except what had to be covered by warranty. Never been questioned about it and at 300 hrs now.

Those colors are siiiiick! And I love what they’ve done with the new windshield, although if it was mine I’d probably tint it.

Speaking of tinted windows….going to get 35 on mine … hopefully it’s not too dark

If anything it’s too light. Go 20% as it won’t be nearly as dark as 20% in a car since it’s an open cabin.

On one hand, there is plenty of case law that would eliminate any possibility of Malibu enforcing that. On the other, it could cost the consumer more in attorney fees than any typical repair would cost.

Still a bit shady to sneak an illegal statement in like that. Although, there seems to be plenty of that going on with boat manufacturers these days (especially with the longer term warranties they have now).

Just had to go through a very similar instance with another manufacturer on a boat that was traded in.

Agree 100%. That statements reads more like this…

”YOU are required to pay us $500 for your first oil change or else WE will void the warranty that’s supposed to protect you from OUR defect.”

Gold boat is 20%, Nassau Blue is 15%. Vision definitely reduced through 15%, at night, however, I look over the windshield predominately. I only tuck in behind the windshield on faster open water jaunts. During most towing activities, we are looking over the windshield.

Yeah, it seems that if they want a clause like that the 10 hour service ought to be free.

To those that are patiently waiting. Yesterday my dealer replied that my boat is in transit and should be here early next week. To refresh, my spray date went from 5/20 to 6/4 and then sounds like it actually happened on 6/10. Reports were that by the time the date was pushed to 6/10, Malibu had a pretty good handle on production delays and were following through with build times as scheduled. Delivery seems to be fairly expeditious. 

I will confirm when it actually lands. I hope this provides a glimmer to others in our situation.

My date had been pushed to 6/21 and a few days ago my dealer confirmed the factory has committed to getting it shipped out by 6/30. He said they are being trucked out one at a time as they become ready to get them to customers as soon as possible and he will get it prepped within 24 hours of receiving it.

Really looking forward to getting out on the water this summer!

Same date as yours and was told it would be in hand by latest 4th of July weekend. Hoping that is the case.
