yeah it fits. MIGHT burn your gel over the course of around 100-150 hours, but I have not noticed ANYTHING yet.

Isn't there a stainless plate you can put on your hull to prevent burn?

Yeah, I actually bought a very thin 3m backed aluminum sheet to stick under there, but haven't installed it yet.

. If I mat the pedal in my truck it’s not as quick/fast as if I work the throttle through the torque curves as I feel the engine pulling stronger. At least that is what my butt gauge tells me.

Funny you say that about the truck my RAM CTD is the same way

Might be different on the Axis line, but no issues with over slammed A24, full ballast, 1100lead, 8-10 people getting on plane with 18" prop and m6.

Full slammed A22, full ballast, 800 lead, 3-4people, 2773 prop m5 (thought not super fast to get to wakeboard speeds.

So what does the 18” prop do to cruise speeds

It should not make much of a difference unless the pitch changes.

Can one of you guys with the 24MXZ take a look under your boat and see how much extras clearance there is with the stock 17"  prop please?  Mine is at the dealership and hour away and they are shying away from the question. For liability concerns I assume?

Anyone have a chance to look at the clearance?

I don't have an exact measurement but I would say it slightly less than  2", when I change props a 2x4 just fits.

Well the 18" prop fit and works but runs the rpms up to high to around 5000 which burns gas like crazy.   I am going to have to go back up in pitch to at least a 14"  More experimentation needed.
