Swim platform cover

I saw this one. https://www.bakesonline.com/malibu-boats-swim-platform-cover.html

I was going to get it but now realize I need to get an upholstery place to custom add one that covers about 1/2 the port side of my boat. It is getting baked in the sun. I am hoping he can add something that can easily Velcro on from the stern to just past the tower

Evolution covers. Cory is awesome, although probably very back ordered right now. Worth giving him a call though.

Thanks

Any local canvas shop can do one.  Besure to add a sleeve for foam so it does not pool water.

Thanks

I second Cory at Evolutions cover.  Did my swim platform cover for my 2015 TXI.  He’s great and responsive. Did mine at end of June and got it mid July.  I called Bakes and no response.  Cory at evolutions again was great, swim platform cover great....

A caution?! Maybe maybe not?!

not sure how many of you have had a problem with otters and muskrats?

around our river they seem to love the boats with swim platform covers.

The owners of marina has told people it’s a trade off ... never have the geese or ducks on your platform leaving a mess every day but increasing ur odds significantly of otter/muskrat visitors.

The one year I left my boat in the water at the marina (getting my new trailer built) I experienced this.   2 boats (1 mine) with covers that also go over the platform and the otters chewed a small hole, camped out for a couple of days, chewed the domed letters on the back, chewed through my surf gate and wedge actuator wires, and the used my custom swim platform seadek as desert.

the other boat had similar issues.

of the dozens of other boats at the marina, only 1 other boat (no cover) was disturbed.

anyone with platform covers that leave their boat in the water have an issue with wildlife? Curious.
