I did have one at one point you know!! I’m always looking!

Will def have a review on this thing. It is going to get a long list of updates and upgrades.

one thing I can say is that compared to other 30-35’ express cruisers, MC went way above and beyond even compared to what is available today 10 years later. However, that is where they failed on the 300. It came out in the worst part of the recession, and was 2x the cost of its competitors. Most of them went to the UAE. There is only 2 of them in the USA. Really cool boat, and luckily unfamiliar to anyone looking to buy used in that size category. Due to that, I was able to pick it up for about 1/5th if it’s cost new, and it is in near perfect condition.

Congratulations @TenTwentyOne!  I've been wanting to see one of these in the flesh since they were released, but have never had an opportunity.  I'm looking forward to more pics and what you plan on doing with this thing.

Also, it's nice to hear such great reviews like yours.  As you stated, it's pretty infrequent to hear such positive feedback.

I'd be curious if you know any more about the history of this boat?  There was one that kept popping up in various forums and listings in 2013-2015 and every time it seemed to be located somewhere else and always "priced for quick sale."   Sounds like you got a deal on it (and it's always been a gorgeous boat) but I just have to wonder if it bounced around to a few owners for some reason or if it was just perpetually on fire sale (and if so.... why?!  what owner splashed out $500k+ on it but then a year or two later and for several years afterwards needed cash?)

I know the history of the boat pretty well, and it did bounce around a little. I am the third owner. I remember seeing it advertised at several places as well, and I had actually called on it when it was for sale in 2013.

The original owner special ordered it in 2010, and I actually saw this one being built at the factory. He took delivery in 2011 and had it for 3 years. He ended up having money troubles, from what I understand, and he sold it quite cheap and it only had 80 hours on it (I think somewhere around $265k).

Second owner purchased it, and has had it for the last 6 years. He put about 350 hours on it, and the only failure he had was one of the driveshafts got messed up from a lose prop, and he had an oxygen sensor fail.

boat came with a huge stack of all the service records since day 1, and besides a little bit of dock rash, it is hard to tell that the boat isn’t brand new. It was well taken care of.

I think a lot of the reason that it seemed like it was always for sale, is that the brokers that listed it back in 2013 still have the ads up online..... they are still there today.

While I am not a cruiser guy, I have to say I think that  is a great boat.  It is like the Fish Nautique or the MC  centre console rigs. :)

It says 11' beam on the posted specs.  IIRC, that would require special wide-load permits and escort cars to transport on the road in most states.  Or did you guys just sneak under?  Anyway, that looks like a pretty sweet cruiser.

Have to post vids of the wave. You can prolly have peeps surfing on both sides of the wave simultaneously. 12500 dryweight..big.

Cool boat, didn’t know they existed. I would make the ten minute drive to go check it out if there wasn’t snow on the ground here.

You are going to need a smaller tow vehicle. You don't want to make that bad boy look small.:Tease3:

I guess the "dont know it's back there" comment definately applies here.

Funny you say that. The last time I towed the XStar, I accidentally cut a corner a lot more than I would have if I had remembered I was towing the boat. I actually did forget it was back there that one time. Luckily, It didn't result in any issue.

You definitely can't tell it is back there, except that you see it in the mirror. I'm guessing I'll feel the 300 a little bit. It is quite a bit heavier.

I'm guessing the MC spec is 12,500 dry with standard options....

We got pulled into scales several times on the trip, both empty and loaded. With the optional Generator, twin heat pump/AC systems, Glass roof, Arch, Power Bimini, sat TVs, radar, 2nd sleeping quarters, and a few other little things, the boat (without trailer) was 16,200lbs. Fuel tanks are reading 1/4, so that adds another 400-500lbs as well.

beat me to it!  Imagine pulling up to the launch with that bad-boy.  Our launches here in AZ are bro-dozer central.  This would be the ultimate one-upsmanship.  lol
