Have the opportunity to keep my boat on the lake for a couple weeks.  Stresses me out, so I installed a wireless camera to keep an eye on things.

from late Aug when I was saying goodbye to my home lake for another year. 

New canopy material sure gets mildewy.  This one is brand new.  Previous one lasted 17 years and never looked like that...

You guys are tough .  We were down there 30 minutes later.  Air was 46, water 64 at 7:30.

And some from this morning.  Crazy nice weather this weekend.  64 air and 64 water at 8:30.  Town started lowering the lake a couple days ago, so everyone has been pulling their boats.  Just a couple kayakers out when we left.

Put the drone up before what was likely our last ski of the year yesterday.

Forecast is for snow by the end of the week.  Seams wrong to think about pulling boat, lift and dock when the water looks like this.

Heh... last year this past weekend had a blizzard up there!

That's why we pulled yesterday.  Much more pleasant yesterday than it was last year in the snow.

Thanks.  That is Lake Isle.  An hour west of Edmonton.

No challenges for our glass this morning. Starting temp as I dropped the boat 8:15 was 47.  Boat saying 50 to 53 well skiing Lake still warm at 60. We only have three or four week at max to get our skiing done this year as our lake is being brought down eight feet for winter work on the Dam. Wont be back up till spring water temp around 39. Dammer the duck wakes are tough!  Had glass yesterday but air at 60.

Wow.  We are still in mid summer around here.  Mid 90's yesterday.  No rain for at least a month now. 

Sweatember has only one more day left, and we're looking at Hotober next since the forecast doesn't show much change soon.

Town is lowering the lake again this year to work on the dam.  Lunch time ski was worth the effort.  Water 57, air a balmy 65.

Super bummer.  Boomer called me a bit ago to talk about boat winterization.  Don't miss that time of year!
