Bought a 2000 Sunsetter last year and the gauges didn't work. After replacing the MDC gauge computer, but getting no results, I check ed out the pricing of the gauges themselves. Upon finding out the Malibu replacement gauges were $900, I decided to eliminate the MDC, make a new dash panel, and go with analog gauges. I took the boat out today for the first time, and everything worked perfectly except for the temp gauge. I got no reading at all. I double checked the connection to the back of the gauge itself, and it appears to be solid. Does anyone know where i can find the temp sensor on the Indmar engine and how to troubleshoot it to see if it is sending anything? Any other ideas?
