2013,2014 22 Mxz vs 2013,2014 23 lsv

I know this has been discussed several times but strictly surf wave which is the best? And is the just between the 2013 and the 2014 dramatic wave wise? Thanks.

I personally think it depends on how well you learn your boat and dial in the wave.  We have a 2013 23 LSV and will put it up against anything out there. We have also ridden behind the top 5 manufacturers wakesurfing and wakeboarding and still feel our Bu will outperform some if not all of the larger boats, just because we have spent so many hours dialing it in.  Either year are good years.  Thee was a slight hull change between 13 and 14 but imho, it made very little difference.  Malibu changed the transmission ratio which had people stumped at first, but then they got the right props on them and it was better, but made for much higher rpms.  The 13 with the 2419 if you run it slammed all the time is a great combination.  I have 1650 hours in our Bu and hundreds of ours behind other set ups so feel free to pm me your phone number if you want to discuss any further?  All the best!!!

The 14 lsv has more freeboard than the 2013 hull , also 14 will have flip up rear facing seats, holds 16 more gallons of gas, is 500lbs  heavier.
