bearing buddy service on older trailer

I bought a '95 19ft glastron that i am making into a fishing boat with '95 ezloader trailer, (i am replacing the tires). The trailer has bearing buddies that accept grease, but i am wondering if i should pull the bearings and service them and check condition....or am i good to go with just greasing?

I am hoping for the easy way answer....but doubt that is the advice i will receive.

23 year old trailer and unknown service history.  Id just replace the bearings.
