The RX handles and performs differently due to engine placement and lack of v-drive.  Getting that weight further forward helps with hole shot and general handling.  Plus, you will lose some power by adding a v-drive in the mix.  Not much, but there is a loss.  I don't think you will feel under-powered if the engine is in solid shape, but as others have said, make sure you do a compression check.  Those engines had a history of burning through oil.
