Forget a Response, get a used Echelon.... It's the same thing right?

Now i just need to redo my boat inside and out so it doesn't look like miami vice as much anymore..... Pink, Blue, and Grey.... any suggestions on what patterns/colors to redo it in? I kind of like the new malibu logo....and Echelon on the back kind of like the responses/sportsters look. The hull is just so....Plain...as it is.

Replace the letters on the hull with the Malibu drip molded ones and it will look great. I ordered my Sporty with an all white interior so I wouldn't be dealing with a dated color scheme down the road, plus I thought it just looked better anyways. Pull out an old brochure and look at the Corvette boat. Their interiors were one color.

I was thinking the same thing. The all white interior will never go out of style and always looks great.

I had a 1994 Flightcraft. I loved the boat, but hated the Merc on the rear. It blew up twice and is expensive to rebuild. If malibu would bring back the Flightcraft inboard, I would consider ordering a new one.

Good thing you didn't get that boat sales job H2O, as you'd go broke in a heartbeat if your living depended on the sale of Sportster and Response-like boats. Take a tour of either of the Malibu plants and see how many Response's are in the process. Last trip I had to Merced in 2004, they said that plant built 14 Sportsters all year. TN builds a few more than CA but the demand was very, very low.

I always liked the look of the 94 and up flightcraft sportster (not the 18xlt) but is it not the same hull as the next generation malibu sportster?
