@The Hulk you need to get a better board and maybe take a lesson honestly they will be able to dissect your riding in the first 1o minutes and tell you what your doing wrong. With a slammed 25lsv you should be on the brakes almost constantly falling back and pumping back into the wave to do tricks....technique and proper equipment is just as key as one of the baddest surf boats out there.

Yes if I ride less than 10-15 ft it's no stop breaking.. thus why I typically don't ride that close.. too tiring. 

I typically don't pump only when I might loose the wave.. mostly add front weight by shifting shoulder over front legg and go forward.. but pumping doesn't do a ton lot of work without fins.. granted I have not tried pumping with side fins yet.. hopefully next season and on a SC board.. probably going to make a custom carbon board or two overseas as well to play around with.. hopefully have a few including a SC to test come spring.
