You didn’t tell us the MSRP of the Supra. You better edit that post, and I mean RIGHT QUICK or Judge  @bamaboy will deem your post meaningless!

Oh I'm sorry I didn't fawn all over your "data".  Here's what I actually meant to say...

Wow, that's some crackerjack detective work you did there @IXFE.  That must have taken a long time.  Walking around and looking at signs and all.  I feel relieved knowing that Malibu is the best deal around.  Thanks!

You also reported prices in garbage-USD-fiat currency.  pfft.  fail.

Dude you are like an ultra stalker troll.  Can't you leave me alone when I'm trying to troll someone else at least?  Have some respect.  Sheesh.

Obviously with all boats you need to compare options etc to determine if a boat show price is a “good deal”.

As you can see from  my incoming m235 invoice 175 would be a deal but a boat with far fewer options (mine is fully loaded with 7k in flake) it might not be??

A post like this is inherently  not applicable outside of the region.  Heck, it's not even applicable outside that boat show.

Walking around and writing down the "boat show special" means nothing.  I have had discussions with people on this site that live in a region where the typical Malibu discount is about 10-15%.  Most guys get above 20%.  Highly region and dealer dependent.  So we know nothing about what % discount these prices were.

Now, if you posted the boat show special compared with MSRP that is a different story.  With MSRP, you can see how the direct competitors compare.  For example, MSRP of a similarly equipped M235, Xstar and G23 would probably be very similar.

This is great stuff. It's better than great, it's American!

Talk is cheap. Do better this weekend or stfu.

And yes, Malibu is the best deal. Quibble over details, but at least we agree on the message.

My biggest complaint on the pricing comparison was he didn’t list Heyday. That’s the boat we all aspire to.

Is it summer yet?

yeahhh....I also wanna know why Hey Day wasn't included...if you price them per lb, then the heyday 40g/3150lbs is the best deal at 12 bucks per lb.

You choose to live in Ohio, nobody cares what you believe because of your poor life decisions

See prime example that you can’t recognize and identify value and aesthetics. Ohio has both those.

Oh I have no plans on getting any of my own data.  I don't care enough to do that.  I was just blasting yours.  It was fun seeing you get a little butt hurt I must say.

My biggest joy will be watching @Chrisjjbrown call out the Moomba dealer for having too little cushion in the seats

Don’t forget to test the axis towers!

Would be a whole lot easier to compare prices and specs, if Malibu would post MSRP pricing, like most other boat companies. Then it would be easy to throw together some apples to apples builds, and see what the difference actually is.

(Doesn't seem Centurion does this either)

Dave,

I understand what you were trying to show and it make sense and is a good starting point.  However does it really come as a surprise to people that Malibu is cheaper than Nautique and Mastercraft for compareable models.   This isn't really breaking news as it has pretty much always been this way.

Don't side with the Commie,   I agree though North West Ohio is almost as bad as Michigan.

It’s ok little buddy, if you work hard and believe in yourself maybe one day, you’ll get to live in a real state.
