It's a mercruiser so just grab the factory parts online is how I like to go.  Plugs/wires are just normal stuff to get at the local parts store. some quality wires and plugs and you'll be all set.

@89MalibuskierCO:  spark plugs can be a personal preference, I tend to like NGK plugs as they last a long time and are pretty foul resistant, and they make one for your application.  Coil is nothing special, what is your marinizer (Mercruiser / Indmar, etc.), the Merc coil works well and would be matched to the ignition type (points or electronic).  The key is what type of trigger do you have, points or electronic.  If points, I would suggest upgrading to an electronic type, that will be much more reliable and need much less servicing, SkiDim offers upgrade kits.  Are you looking at a water separator type, which looks like a spin on oil filter?  If yes, there are numerous options from Quicksilver, Mercruiser, Sierra, etc.  All do the job.  There is probably a filter on your carb inlet also.
