Following up. Goofy wave is hard to mess up. Got my regular wave dialed. I was using too much weight and too much speed. (up to 6000# total and then the wedge, and up to 12.8mph i ran listed.)

Recipe: all factory ballast, then I put 200# lead in each rear corner under my sacks, and 100# lead that I have hidden in the nose. Filled my 1100 starboard sack all the way, and filled the dong sack the same amount of time. No wedge. tab dialed back 3-4 clicks. 10.8 for waist high wave, 11.6 for longer mid thigh wave. No wedge.  I think any more weight is really just diminishing returns.

2419 prop. 2700 rpm. fuel consumption was comparable to listed, just judging by 1 days usage. I went through a whole bunch of fuel previosly when I was maxed out on weight.

This wave was every bit as good as my dong sack listed wave. equal height, push, length. solid too, easy to ollie. I dont know if im just progressing, but found tricks (mostly just 360's) easier. I've started working on my kick flip now. Best of all boat is perfectly level, so much nicer to hang out on, stop for a break, etc.

I had two noobs out today, and both went ropeless on their second run. Best of all, they were both instantly hooked, and stayed out until it was too dark. To top it off, I didn't have to worry about a noob trying to dive a listed boat when it was my turn to surf.

I highly recommend Wave control. If anyone wants a test ride in the Charlotte area, just hit me up.
