The fact that it has happened more than once is EXTRA no bueno IMHO. If it was just the one time, you could chalk it up to murphy's law, random bad luck, act of god, etc. But twice.... zoiks.

This is all stock ballast but it should be able to handle that. They may need to beef these seems up

Could you have hit something that caused the separation? I'm not saying an impact should do that but did a collision trigger it?

Hull is clean. We didn't hit anything. It is one thing if we were at full ballast on a Sunday afternoon wide open down the lake but this was a calm weekday at 11mph. Just a freak deal
