Rick James is dead, but prince isn't. He's my #2 suspect. So I don't actually think we've gone "completely off topic," but thanks bamabonners for reminding us that we should only make "on topic" posts.

to summarize:

• boat got stolen
• boat is ugly
• Afun loves this ugly boat
• did afun do it?
• maybe Afun did it but it could've also been prince, because prince and afun are really the only people who'd want purple flake anything.
• stealing boats, especially unique boats (and especially purple flake boats) doesn't make much sense... where do you unload it?
• Afun seems to know a lot about how to unload said boat overseas. Maybe too much.
• but maybe it was in inside job because this boat has been sitting in inventory for over a year and only Afun has actually expressed any interest

^^^ all of these points seem to be directly "on topic" to me. I'm sure the Knoxville PD is checking this thread regularly for ideas, which is, I'm sure, why you posted the topic in the first place.

^^^^ the only thing is....that boat has not been sitting that long. It's so new to the dealer it hasn't even been updated on the dealers website.

Also, many people other than me have expressed their liking for that color combination...many many people that have good taste
