Also don't forget - they hold their value better than anything. Like, ANYthing.

This being said do not buy a used one without at least pricing a new one. The numbers can come real close especially if you consider cheaper interest on new ones.

Yep, our JKU is the only new car I've ever bought (I'm 46). 1% below invoice, and I've compared it now and then to new/used ones and I am in great shape.

Another reason was I rented Jeeps a few times at Silver Lake sand dunes. Put less than 10 miles on them each time, each was about a 2 hour trip. By the time I drove that thing back to the rental place it smelled hot and worn. So a "low mileage" Jeep to me meant nothing - might as well buy a new one.

'Doesn't stop so good'---'Maybe I should put a 6.4 SRT engine in it'.

Better compression braking. Thing weighs so much that the little 6 cylinder likely doesn't drop 10RPM when he lets off the throttle with that pig behind him ;)

Put a 6.4 in it and use the 6 as an asphalt anchor clanging along behind.

I'm no expert but when you have a sign on your trailer that says "Oversize Load", a Jeep may not be the best tow vehicle. Those rear fender flares look a bit compromised should he come to a rough patch.
