Lift an edge carefully with a 5 way so you don't scratch the gelcoat. Once you get enough to grab, pull it back over on itself. I didn't have much residual adhesive at all. Cleaned up what there was with lacquer thinner and then alcohol. Be Careful to follow the directions when placing the new one. You get one shot at that.

Don't remember there being a choice, just specified "malibu" and they took care of it. I strongly recommend doing the first layer in black. My white letters and the edge look kinda yucky now.
