I did not weigh my entire setup before and after, but I was curious as to the weight on the tires. Because I thought we are generally at or slightly over the trailer tire weight rating on these beasts.

My 247 with full tank of gas was 6250 hooked up to the truck with the truck off of the scales. So the tongue weight was not part of the weight, but judging by the way my truck sags, I think it is probably 700 pounds or more. That averages out to be about 1560 pounds per trailer tire. That is not as bad as I thought it was. Your average goodyear Marathon in a 14 inch rim is 1760 pounds weight rating.

And your trailer is probably overloaded by axle weight ratings to right Tall?

At your weight estimate it's still over 6800 lbs.

What are your axles rated for and what trailer brand?

Tandem or triple axle? What trailer and look on your tag for axle ratings.

Tandem axle...i would have went tripplehad i known how tight it is
